Giving to Grow

BGR is committed to philanthropic giving. Supporting local and national non-profit organizations contributes to our mission of supplying more than products; challenging people to grow beyond what they believe to be possible. Every year, our ownership sets aside a portion of the company's profits to be distributed to non-profit organizations as decided by our Philanthropy Team.

Eligibility for Financial Contributions

Organizations requesting support from the BGR Philanthropy Team must be tax-exempt as designated in Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. All organizations requesting support must submit an Application for Charitable Contribution.

BGR focuses on supporting charitable organizations that seek to help one or more of the following:

• Local communities
• Children in need
• Military people and their families
• Individuals experiencing barriers to employment (because of disability, poverty, criminal background, etc.)
• Medical - Individuals (and the families of individuals) suffering from illness/ as well as research of disease

BGR cannot accommodate all requests.

Application Deadline

Applications for funding in 2020 must be submitted by December 31, 2019.

Employee Requests

BGR supports its employees by giving to organizations which employees are involved with or passionate about. The Philanthropy Team sets aside a portion of our budget every year to fund employee requests. Employees can make requests by submitting an application at any time of the year, but once the budgeted amount is allocated, the employee will be directed to make their request again the following year.
